- A thick jacket (we recommend a windproof or winter jacket).
- Scarves, hats, and gloves.
- Cloth or medical masks (essential for keeping sand out of your face while in the caldera).
- Comfortable shoes for walking on sandy and uphill terrain.
- Sunglasses (for daytime use to protect your eyes from glare and dust).
